Three things that fill a room

Three weeks before the event, the RSVP list is the board and the same few regulars, and the people who would love this night have simply never heard of it. That's the whole problem, and it's the fixable kind.

Filling the room takes three habits and one prompt. Both are below, and they work for every event you'll ever need to fill, so keep this one.

Three things that fill a room

1. Give people one place to look. A public page with your next three events and a join button. The group text is where announcements go to be scrolled past.

2. Ask every regular for one name. "Bring one person who would like this" beats "invite your friends." One name is a task. "Your friends" is a suggestion.

3. Post the room the next morning. One photo of the full room, one line of thanks, the date of the next one. The people who skipped it will see what they missed. That's the only kind of FOMO worth building.

A prompt you can use today

Paste this into your AI tool. Use role names, never member details.

I organize [community] and our next event is [event] on [date] at [venue]. The people who would enjoy it most are [who]. Before you write anything, ask me the three details you still need. Then write: one public announcement in plain, warm language; a two-line message a regular can forward to one friend; a day-before reminder that leads with parking, entrance and what to bring; and a next-morning thank-you that invites people to the following event. Keep every message under 80 words. No exclamation marks. Do not invent details, prices or attendance numbers.

Read the output before it goes anywhere. AI writes the words. You still decide what gets sent.

Where the next people come from

I built GlowOS so the page does the recruiting. The three habits above still need someone to keep the page current and write the reminders, and on GlowOS that someone is no longer you, at eleven at night.
